Summer 2010 Workshops

Spend 1, 2, or 3 weeks in France, under the guidance of master teachers: June 23 – July 14

For more than two decades, SEYMOUR SIMMONS III has guided artists of all ages and experience in sketching and painting landscapes throughout France. His French-born wife, MARTINE SIMMONS, adds her flair to the experience, helping participants with French language, markets, and culinary adventures. New this summer, photographer TERRY ROUECHE joins the staff to offer digital or film photography instruction.

Cost

One week: $1,400
Two week: $2,500
Three weeks: $3,600

Includes:

  • Courses in sketching, painting, and photography
  • French language and culinary activities
  • Guided tours of art museums
  • Transportation to Normandy and Jura, and to local sites (except Paris subway)
  • Double-room accommodations
  • Most meals in Normandy and Jura; breakfast only in Paris
