Normandy

SESSION I : June 29 – July 10, 2011

En route from Paris to Normandy, we follow the path of the Impressionists by visiting GIVERNY,
Monet’s famous home and garden
:

Giverny.

From there, we go to the village of MEUVAINES, where we stay in the 17th-century CHATEAU ROUGE,
summer home of a prominent French family, located only half a mile from the English Channel:

While in Meuvaines, participants explore the BEAUTIFUL SCENERY through drawing, painting, and photography.

When not making art, participants enjoy (shopping for and learning to cook) DELICIOUS FRENCH MEALS
from the Normandy region.

Sometimes we combine ART and COOKING!
